Hi John
I am really sorry you are still waiting, since our first release and some initial problems the manuafcturing and production schedules went to pot!! in some cases we were keen to re-supply folks who had issues and therefore rec-check all was now ok,therefore the natural numbers of new available units fell.
On top of this demand is huge and we are slowly building up but have not blitzed production numbers to be sure of the quality control, please ask your dealer to contact his rep for the latest details on your unit. I am sure by the end of this month our list will be greatly reduced.

paul thanks for the reply, still does not explain how people who ordered after me have got there n-vis? also phoned my dealer this morning he said he would ring naim to find out the situation with the n-vi,and for me to call back later, which i did i was told they were waiting for a phone call from someone at naim and could i ring back this afternoon, again i phoned them back to be told the person dealing with my n-vi order was not in the shop at present and they would get him to ring me back am still waiting for the call, have read threads on here praising rayleigh hi fi my personal opinion is there service leaves a lot to be desired ?

John

In my opinion, you've been whinging on about your bloody n-vi for months.

However, I would now agree that its got well past the sick-joke stage.

I imagine that Adam will chirp up before the weekend is over to set matters right, by confirming that Naim will be making a special delivery for you on Monday, along with a significant discount as a good-will gesture for the all the buggeration you have endured.

I imagine by Tuesday night you will be extolling the virtues of your new n-vi all over this forum and praising Naim to the highest heavens for sorting out your problem and having produced such a beauty as the n-vi......

.....or at least you will tell us that your dealer and Naim have given you a call to say "hi!"

Cheers

Don

Can't wait.

Hey john, may I suggest a slightly dfiferent course of action?

Ring Naim yourself or, better still, email them at info AT naim DOT com (I think that's the address) and Adam Meredith himself, in his customer-relations guise, will pick it up and look into it. If you ask him nicely he may even get back to your dealer to, as it were, smooth the lines of communication, etc.

Anyway, just a thought. Probably what I might do in your shoes.

I don't like being wrong, but, on this occasion it looks like I was wrong by a mile.............
