Simple question:-
As with the AV2, does the NVi come with the reverse cable for connecting to the unity gain input of the preamplifiers? Kind regards Allen |

Nope.
As it can function on it's own, direct to a power amp, or to a unity gain AV input, you must choose which extras you need and buy them. |

Thanks Mike, what you say makes complete sense.

BTW,
I'm always being asked:- n-Vi uses a straight 5:5 lead, not a reverse interconnect. The reverse interconnect is only used on the AV2 as "AN3" is an input and an output. |

Whoooohooo! Thanks AV@naim for that interjection.
That means when my Hi-Line arrives I can use the spare lavender interconnect from the CDS3 for the NVi to 252 link up. Kind regards Allen |

As far as I recall a 2xphono->5 pin din in to the AV input would do it. We do supply these cables, but I would ask your dealer to obtain one for you from us. |

I would hope so. I have yet to get a 2xanalogue signal down 1 phono connector...(without mux'ing) I presume you are meaning the 552 should be supplied (via its 5 pin AV input) with the L/R (2xphono) front signal from the AV device. The other leads require 1xphono->XLR. I suggest speaking directly to your dealer on this matter as I cannot clarify that we supply these at present. |

More importantly note that:-
145 signal goes in on CH1 (left) pin of the XLR only. 300 signal goes in on CH1 (left) and CH2 (right), so will require the correct leads in the correct sockets for this to work properly. |
