In the local Sony shop yesterday the bloke dropped this into the conversation. The bew range from mat will NOT have any Plasma only CRT. The Brviais stunning and has a refresh rate ( or whatever it is called ) of 0.8 ms, this will drop to 0.6ms.

Blimey.
Blimey indeed Mike - this is a sentence from Hell !
"bew" should read "new" "mat" should read "May" "will NOT have any" should read "will have NO"
Finally, there is of course no such animal as "Plasma only CRT" (Cathode Ray Tube). Perhaps this should read "Plasma OR CRT" ? Or maybe "no Plasma - only LCD". Or "no Plasma - only CRT & LCD" ?

No CRT for them either–only DLP/LCoS/SXRD-type projection technologies, plus LCD direct-view screens at the bottom end of the range.
The direct-view KVR-series CRT models are selling out like mad at closeout prices here in the States (if you enjoy schlepping a heavy TV up flights of stairs).
