finally got it this afternoon, initial impression very happy with sound and pq, one question why does the display on the front of the unit keep going off without me turning off the display, is it supposed to do this,

hi john good news at last. yes it goes off after about two and a half mins, comes on again when you use remote.regards munch

cheers for that munch, all seems to be working ok then, they set it up for m/r although it don't seem to like the reg 1 with the rce code, will have to find out later if there is a way round it, have listerned to some more cds and in stereo far superior to the denon, am not knocking denon by the way, there av receivers have served me well for the last 4 or 5 years,
the optical from tv drive works ok with bbc-hd lip-sync on all signals no worse than is was before, almost unnoticeable, will update more when i have played around with it,

nice one got late night to night the who live in boston just about to start on i.t.v.4 only one i have not got on d.v.d regards munch it s the dogs have fun.
