There is a romour that dualdiscs (CD side) are not made to red book standard.
I dont know how true this is though.
I have used dual-disc's in n-vi's with no problem.

a.f.a.i.k. dual-disks are physically too thick for the red book standard (two disks glued together).
Most of the "simple" hard clamping disk mechanisms won't have problems though. But soft clamping mechanisms like the naim cd-players with their magnet/rubber ring pucks could be critical (like with different thickness of cd's before too...) But I have not checked that by myself up to now.
