Can a regular DIN-DIN version be used as a replacement for the interconnect between an AV2 and the pre-amp?

I think you will find it can only be used between a cdp or dvd player into a pre.

Will work with n-Vi (playback only), and can be adjusted by your dealer or distributor for AV use (playback only–no feed from preamp to AV processor)–no soldering required!
