Before my n-Vi committed seppuku, I tried to connect a pre-amp to the analog audio output 180º five pin DIN connector but I couldn't get any sound from it.

Is there some option, concealed deep within the menu structure, to enable it? Does it have a weird pin connection? Has anyone else had similar issues?

For best results, set the front speakers to Large - External.

Make sure you are using the output socket and not the input (I am sure you are though)

Straight 5:5 needs to be used

Set as Dave D's post (Hi Dave)
