Have you checked the audio settings in the Sky box haven't been changed?

Audio settings still reading Dolby D ,someone on Digital Spy suggested the settings sound as though they have been changed to PCM somehow ??.....Jim

Just to clarify - you're using the digital optical connection into a surround sound processor/amp and the DD 5.1 is working OK except on Sky movies and HD? Bearing in mind not all programmes on these latter channels are encoded with DD, are you sure it's actually being transmitted?
Changing from HDMI to Component won't affect this problem. Can you try another optical digital input?
If it's definitely not the processor at fault, insist on a new Sky HD box, even if it's outside of the warranty. Threatening to cancel your subscription usually works wonders!

Tonym ,I,m getting 5.1 from all other sources i.e.DVD,Xbox,so it,s not the amp I,m getting no sound at all from Sky Movies or the HD channels ......Jim

Box replaced after checking set up I was able to show him how I was getting all channels be it only in Pro Logic ,but not in 5.1 he agreed the 5.1 decoder had gone in the box ,so I,m happy for now!.......Thanks for your help guys ....Jim
