My cable TV provider offers the BBC coverage of the World Cup in both analogue and digital modes. I have been struck by the differences in presentation between the two. In digital mode the goal lines appear distinctly jagged, and the voices of the members of the expert panel are out of synchronization with their lip movements. Analogue mode does not exhibit these problems. Is it just me, or does anyone else notice this?
