I today had the privilege of demoing a beautiful pair of n-sats at my dealers.

They were hooked up to DVD5/AV2/NAP500 for DVDs and to CDS3/AV2/500 for CDs.

I must say, they sound gorgeous. The treble could have been a bit sweeter, but I reckon, they just needed to warm up a bit.
I was mainly interested in how they played music (demo albums included Type O Negative, Katie Melua, Peter Gabriel (DVD), Blue Man Group (DVD)). And they performed great. They even did really nice bass!

OK. A NAP 500 really might kind of blurr the test as it really makes the n-sats sing and would probably get the best out of any speaker, but I was really impressed. Although only having heard them on a 200/CDX2 system, I would even say I preferred the n-sats to the Arivas. But that's without a/b demoing them next to each other.

I am really impressed and seriously thinking of buying some!

Maybe Adam Meredith could answer a question or two:

1. Will the wall brackets be 180° rotatable to get certain angles? And up/down of course?

2. Will there be different stands heights?

3. Will the n-sub be just as awesome ?

i have i just ordered today a pair of n sat's
i have heard on a 202 and 200 and just sound
extremely good i also have heard at same time arriva''s for me they had to much bass.
my system is 202 and 180nap and of course in two weeks time a set of n sat''s

Same here. The Arivas were to heavy on bass and IMO didn't have the PRaT of other Naim speakers. The bass was a bit to slow. All sounds a bit boomy to me.

The n-sats however sound superb, especially for their size. Glad to hear it's not only the case on a NAP500!
