Hi,

Just wondering if people have any views on where the ambient lighting works well in a rectangular room for home cinema with a projector. I dont have any dimming or special lighting. I was thinking of having two ikea uplighters on the far left and right of the screen as their are alcoves in the corners.

All ideas welcome

Cheers!

Err....

Basically ANY ambient light will detract from the quality of your projected image.... my recommendation is spend less and enjoy more quality.

Although I would suggest forking out about £15 on an IR Touch dimmer, so you can raise & lower lighting from your sofa, rather than stumbling around in the dark after the movie's finished...
