All in HD here in Japan too. Very impressed. Coverage spread across 3 channels here also. Unfortunately, commentary only in Japanese which is unusual for foreign sporting events shown on NHK.

By the tim I get home from work there isn't anything going on live, but I'll probably tune in and watch some and I think it's available on some HD channels here too so should be good.

The 2004 European championships was in HD here and the picture quality was stunning, I can't wait for the world cup which I believe will also be available in HD.

World Cup will defintely be broadcast in HD. We will get getting 24 games here in Japan on NHK in HD, all with bilingual commentary from the BBC! Unfortunately another broadcaster who does not broadcast in HD will be showing all 64 games in regular format only.
