Sade - Lovers Live

I've had this for months now but never got round to watching it - more fool me! This is fabulous - note perfect silky smooth vocals, her band on top form and some great stage backdrops make this a "must" for any Sade fans.

Blackfield - Live in NYC from March 16, 2007. I had tickets that night but a blizzard and nervous wife prevented me from attending. This DVD is so great I can't even put it into words.

Hi Vaughn,

Try this one - FanBloodyTastic. I saw Aviv Geffen Last week in London for his debut Solo gig. When Steven Wilson took the stage for about 5 songs it was Blackfield. Check Aviv's MySpace for some samples. BTW, Blackfield will be doing a mini tour this summer, no details yet though.

I saw them last year in Sydney and thought they were a superb band. First class musicians, excellent songs, dazzling show. It was good to see so many teens/20's supporting a "real" band not some manufactured junk.

This DVD confirms what I thought about the Sydney show. Stunning.

The McCartney Years

I haven't watched the individual music videos yet, but I've watched DVD3 several times, and I think the box set is worth it for this DVD alone.

DVD3 consists of:

1. A live US Wings set from the 70s;
2. An 'unplugged' session in front of a studio audience;
3. The Glastonbury set from 2004; and
4. A live set in front of a Superbowl audience.

Some great stuff.

Personally I was very interested in seeing the Glastonbury set. I read a review at the time that said M. got a hard time from the crowd when they started, but they had them cheering by the end.

I picked up the just released Muse DVD haarp last week. Not as good as the actual Wembley concert but still fun to watch.

I can't beleive it was 8 years ago when I saw PT at Sadlers Wells. One of the most enjoyable gigs I have ever attended.
