Ah, the Format war ... I'm missing it already Frown.

I'm thinking about forming a re-creation society. We could meet up at weekends, play our old HD-DVD collections and get all misty-eyed about the past.

Not counting the DVD drives in various computers I've accumulated five DVD players.

I should get rid of a couple, but I get so attached to them...

Tony,

You could join Neil and me in our re-creation society and constantly remind us how your last minute intervention was the deciding factor in the format war. You could be our token Yank Winker

Where's that white feather?

I've got splinters in my rear end from that fence post - but I haven't fallen off yet!

Yes Tony, I'm sure it was. And with that title you were probably fighting them on the beaches!

I think Naim's got it right moving into the install/multi-room audio, digital audio format market just now. They can make a good market there and I think the NaimNet stuff looks seriously good.

If they were to bring out a HD/Blu player etc, could just burn money...

Roy

Neat line of thought Roy.

Buy a PS3 and enjoy the quality now.

Just watched Close Encounters Of The Third Kind on Blueray. Great sound.

Have you got your PS3 connected to your Naim equipment?

If you have, what is it hooked up to Mr D?
