I have ordered a sony 860 dvd recorder (can't remember the rest of the code bar the 860 bit). Wondering if it will be better at replaying dvds than my philips dvd963sa dvd player? Both would be connected to my panasonic crt tv via component cables. The philips outputs progressive scan but not sure if the sony does.
