hi simonj, yes this is very true! the same statements apply let your ears decide - let your eyes decide. as you say each to their own,but i would suggest you go have a look at the latest lcds by tosh sony samsung etc as they are very good. scotty

Hey I was talking about the new Toshibas, not other LCDs, for example the Sony V series bravias. I stand by my comment about the Toshiba LCDs, they show MASSIVE fading of colours when viewed off centre - that is one of the reasons they are so cheap compared to say the Sonys. Go see for yourself in any electrical shop. Its as clear as day!

Hi Martin, I basically said that the Pamasonic PHD 42 plasma panel is the best on the market at the price. in my opinion only the new Fujitsu 58 series betters it(at an extra £1000). Check this review Panasonic PHD42
