It's also a superb test for the sound of your surround rig - especially Chapter 4 - "The Echo Game". I use it all the time for dem and calibration. |

Ladykillers - Alec Guiness.
Serenity - Joss Whedon. Enjoyed both....for completely different reasons! |

Evita...
Good score and more than acceptable performance from Madonna! Dramatic scenes and musical value that will use full potential of a well set-up Naim HT system for sure. |

I thought it was very good. We saw 'Howl's Moving Castle' at the inema last year and I thought it was OK, if over-long, but 'Spirited Away' is a much better film. |

JoeH,
I agree, this film really turned me on to Japanese animation. A film that really can be watched at many levels, as enjoyable to the young and old alike; and as thought provoking as you want it to be. I haven't seen 'Howl's Moving Castle'. Martin |

R1? Didn't think it was out yet, although I've read the extra footage restores RS's vision, and makes it a very good film. M |

Yes it is the R1 release which was made available on the 25th May.
The extra story lines and character exposition make the movies a treat and a stunning piece of work. The picture quality and dts sound track is dvd reference material. |

Thx,
I'm definitely going to get this one. I'll do some digging and find out any regional variations....unless you've already done the research? M |

I haven't done any research as I couldn't wait to see this version. The extras are also very good. |

Educating Rita.
Pathos by the bucketful; and avoids descending too far into sentimentality. I'd forgatten how good it is. ....Oh, and Eric Clapton Unplugged, LPCM --Excellent. (I know I've mentioned it before, but it's worth it!) |

Hitchcock with Richard Donat. Seems charmingly innocent, enjoyable and great H touches. Interesting Hitch Biog in the extras. Martin |

Watched “Leon” last night, one of my all time favourite Films.
The more I watch it the more I appreciate just how good the direction is by Luc Besson. It is probably the best part that Gary Oldman has ever played, the ultimate in “mad, bad and dangerous to know” villain. |

Had the Cream Reunion DVD on earlier (or even yesterday!) just to show off that we made it on to the screen sitting in the front row on the Thursday night! What a feeble claim to fame!

Does anyone know or remember the film, "Bad Day At Black Rock," which is not a Cowboy and Indian film but a very tense murder thriller? It is available but only in the US. If anyone is interested I thoroughly recomend it.
All the best from Fredrik! |

Bad Day at Black Rock(1955)is regarded as a classic. Spencer Tracy as the one armed stranger is fantastic. |

Blythe Spirit.
Directed by David Lean, produced by Noel Coward & based on his play. Stars Rex Harrison and the youngest Margerate Rutherford I've seen on film. Bought from HMV on sale for £2.99. The word I'd use is charming. Some very witty lines and an enjoyable couple of hours. Martin |
