received my new n-vi on wednesday, so far so good, no problems with the optical input fed from my tv-drive, like there was with the first one and to some extent even after the software upgrade, just hoping they manage to sort out my dvd-audio problem which they know about, by the way it is only one dvd-a disc that it has problems with. would now highly reccomend buying an n-vi if you are looking for a one box solution.

david, its the tubular bells 2003, played this before on my arcam dv-89 and it was ok, but on the n-vi you get long pauses between the tracks which were not there on the arcam, have a few other dvd-audio discs which all work fine,

david, just to add to my previous post, i had another look at the disc today, it says there is a dts multi surround format on it as well, but i can't seem to access it, all that comes up on the disc menu is suround or stereo, whichever i select goes into mlp either surround or stereo, tried to select something differant on the n-vi but that just comes up the same.

does the disc work ok in other multi channel capable players?

(This may be a mastering error).

av@naim, just tried in my boys computer the dd 5-1 surround format works fine, not even any pauses between the tracks, i know that the advanced resolution surround works without any pauses as it used to play on my arcam dv-89, i dont have anything i can try the dts soundtrack on, as my n-vi does not give me the option to try it,
