Scotty,
You will need to check if your Sony processor has pre-out capability. If so, you would take the front left and right signal out of the processor and into an input your 82. The n-Vi has this ability.

hi guys, just an update. i have sourced a cable through flashback on ebay and have connected via the pre-out to the 82 5pin din socket. just watched a couple of dvds and the allaes are doing a fine job. very detailed and punchy. for a laugh i also viewed through 8 speakers which was quite amazing. thats 1pr allaes + 3 x kef eggs as fronts 2 x kefs as rears and a rel sub. overall worth £20. must now demo some naim av gear to upgrade and then the allaes will really sing. regards, scotty
