Can anyone offer suggestions on how to fix a source signal fading in and out on an AV2 (Firmware AVC0104 F658)?

It appears that the AV2 is having trouble "holding" on to the source signal. Using coaxial or optical connection to the AV2, the issue is severe with the source signal dropping in and out.

Putting the AV2 display in "dark" mode, the display label comes on and off as the AV2 attempts to hold the source signal from a CD or digital TV.

I have tried shutting everything down for 24 hours and then going through initial set-up but the issue does not go away.

I have run a search on the forum and could not find any postings that describe similar issues. Any help would be appreciated.

I've got a similar problem with losing the sound on all the inputs, the only way to get them back is to power off & then back on, it varies on how often it happens, it can be up-to a couple of times a week.

The issue is a new one for me and it just seems to be with the digital connections for coax or opt. Everything is fine with analog DIN. Very strange.

My last attempt at shutting the system down and going through a full installation has not helped at all. Now, there is no signal for anything digital.

Is there a more recent firmware available?

I only use the digital inputs & that's exactly what happens with me, so if someone has any ideas both me & pac would be grateful.
