Just had Sky HD installed, everything works fine, the picture via HD is stunning!
However, i don't get any sound whilst watching HD channels via the optical out into my AV amp but i do when watching non HD channels?!

Ive contacted Sky who informed me that they will look into it and contact me back.
Has anybody else had the same problem, if so how did you resolve it?

Im using a Denon 2106 amp, Sony Bravia V series LCD, and QED HDMI 2 way switch box.

Is your amp set up for PCM only on the optical input and maybe the HD channels are being transmitted in DD5.1? If so, maybe set your input to 'Auto' switch between the two formats.
