I commented on this not long ago. This may end up being the way we buy music in the near future.

As ever I wonder if this will be a reversion to the latest, often rather dull version [full of technical perfection and rather less musical insight] in "perfect" sound. I think the idea will catch one when the catalogue broadens out to encompass a fine choice. The same thing happned with CD releases at the start...

Alan,
It may well have been your comment I saw!
Fredrik,
Don't know how good the version is - which is why I didn't buy it but decided to do some research.
BUT, I will definitely support this approach to purchasing music.

Delayed. From David Dever in response to time frame for North American launch: "A specific timetable for product roll out in the North American market has yet to be established–delays in product development may push this further later this year." The second part would indicate there are delays.

Ok, so I went and checked on the web and just saw the original Naim-Net launch PR on the news letter. Is there something more current on an emailed news letter?

This is just the start. Hopefully we will see 32bit 512kHz recordings when the technology is there.
AND no need to worry about throwing away old downloaded music collections, because the compatibility will always be there.
Having said all that I'll probably still revert to using vinyl on special occasions.
