I want to buy a new DVD player to replace a piece of crap VHS/DVD combi ... I don't really want to spend much over £500 and i sort of fancy Denon
Will be hooked up to Loewe LCD but no home theatre set up Have done no research but can anyone give me a head start and suggest a few players Thanks Andy |

Hi Andy,
I have been using a NAD dvd player for the last 18 months, very good picture and sound, which is inherited from there amps. You can get them for a very reasonable price (around £150 upwards)and they have a 2 year guarantee. Hope this helps, Chris N |

I'd look at the Denon 1930 or if you must spend more the 2930, although for the use described I'd have thought the 1930 should be more than sufficient!
