Almost everyday I have to reset the machine ...

I believe that some day there should be a software update ... but is there somewhere on the Naim website any official informations, follow-up or whatever about software updates ? ... that day I could run to my dealer ...

(My dealer received DVD5 software update but it is not suppose to concern my too recent 218xxx buggy DVD5.)

The dvd5 software updates are supposed to be for all players. mine is 219xxx and still had the old software so i would go back to your dealer and check it out.

The procedure for the update includes a task to check the version you actually have at the moment in your player. You can then continue with the update.

I'll see that with my dealer and hope it will solve my sync stuff on RGBHV.

I also hope that Naim will let us know directly when they launch new updates.

Mine when I first bought it had the old firmware and had the problem, but within a few days of buying it my dealer receieved the new firmware and updated it and it no longer happens and comes out of standby fine every time.
