I have started to get green speckles appearing on the screen,they seem to be a kind of hangover from a bright image,and soon disappear after the image is gone,any ideas what could be the problem,i have no warranty left so cant pursue that route.

I've had similar problems due to a deffective HDMI cable. Might have nothing to do with it though...
