Hi,

I assume the n-Vi dosent have a 6 channel analogue in?

Assuming that Naim wont be releasing a AV3 anytime soon, couldnt they add the 6 channel analogue in? Many of the new generation Blueray players have built in decoding for the new HD formats with 6 channel outs.

Surely adding this feature would extend the life of the n-Vi and increase the attractiveness to customers for a relatively small cost to Naim?

Just an idea...

Ohh, if only.....

I wrote a little while ago about how they could ditch the scaler card, sorry not ditch, but adapt it to provide a connection to a Blu_Ray drive housed in a half box (Hi-cap) size. This would make the n-Vi a serious prospect for anyone moving over to HD and wanting the best in 5.1 surround sound and add longevity to the product.

As it stands now, I do wonder how many n-Vi's are being sold at the moment.

I'm not knocking the n-Vi, I have one and I love it. Maybe the above and your idea is just not viable.

Regards

Allen
