Thanks for posting this up. Rather a low key safety announcement. You would have thought Loewe would have made contact with owners in the first instance by way of letter [they would have name and address details by way of warranty information].

Yes thanks T M P! My set is in the list so I have filled in the details online. lets see....

mind you it did go bang a while back with sparks and smoke. twas the line output transformer...which I had fixed.

Hi. They did via the dealers. Every customer of mine has had a letter sent out, explaining what they need to do.

I received a letter from them two weeks ago and my guys were on it straight away!

I have had a call from Linn saying that they are passing details on to someone locally. No further contact as yet...

Not bothering having it done. the repair co wanted to take the set for several days with no loan set to "replace a psu". this does not tally with the recall notice. Also the set had been repaired by the same co in the last 3 years so *should* have had this check done according to Loewe.
