We have a Panasonic DMR-EX75EB-S dvd player/recorder hooked up to a Panasonic LCD TV via HDMI cable and scart.

An annoying feature is when we sometimes record TV programmes using the "TV guide" function the recording is cut short at the end, ie: the last min. or two is not recorded. Has this happened to anybody else? Ar we doing something wrong perhaps? Any advice welcome.

Some TV channels deliberately don't stick to the published broadcast times, you need to pad your recordings by 1 or 2 mins minimum. If you are lucky you can set a global preference to do this automatically.

Shaun

this happens a LOT with terrestrial BBC (BBC1 or BBC2). They often run late, so I have to pad my recordings on TiVo. Unfortunately, if you hit a double bill the padding causes the TiVo not to record the 2nd episode which is even worse!!!

One day I should get around to complaining to the BBC...

Frank.
