It depends on what you connect it to for outputing sound.
If it is to an AV2 (or any HT preamp) you need a coaxial or optical cable. If it is to a HiFi préamp you need a standard interconnect or a Naim interconnect to a Naim preamp.
If you want to connect it to your TV, what is your TV ? Because I don't see how you could input sound in your TV on an HDMI input as that kind of input usually doesn't come with separate sound input . Do you have a DVI or VGA input on your TV ? Because DVI or VGA input always have 2 RCA stereo sound inputs. (VGA is definitly much better than YUV, the separate syncs bring a lot to the image).

So you have to choose between : DVI > DVI or 5BNC > VGA or 3BNC (YUV) > YUV, it depends on the input types available on your TV) + add stereo sound with a 2xRCA > 2xRCA cable.

DVI and HDMI connections are different, but compatible, the difference is that DVI is for picture only, whereas HDMI, which I believe stands for High-Definition Multimedia Interface, does picture and sound, as the name suggests.
The DVD5 is equipped with a DVI output only, so even if you have an HDMI cable plugged into it, you will still get no sound. If your TV has a standard pair of L/R RCA inputs, then you will need a separate stereo interconnect cable for the sound.
