thanks duncan, wonder how long will have to wait now, pehaps its me i bought a nap 250 many years ago waited 3 weeks for it, then after about another 3 weeks it was re-called that was with a transformer fault then ?

spoke to my dealer today, he seems to think its a software issue which hopefully should be sorted very soon ?

Power supplies .... software ....
Looks like my Sony/Yamaha isn't in the skip quite yet, whatever the problem!!
I'm presuming that there are a few of us in this boat. Anyone from Naim care to clarify the situation? Given that two different dealers are spinning two different stories regarding delivery delays.
Jay, if I had a naked room I'd be impatient. As it is I'm AV'd up, but just anticipating a huge leap in quality. Whenever it arrives!

You could buy an DVD5/AV2 as a stop gap

John I'd rig it up. No point in waiting without any sound for an indeterminate period. When the n-Vi arrives it'll just slot straight in instead of the DV89...
