has anyone bi amped a center channel using two nap 145's
and if so what are your thoughts on what the 2nd 145 brought to the experience

Hi Neil,

I am using 2 Nap 135's to drive my Ruark CL15.I went from a Nap 180 ,which was used with a bi amp cable so i could use both sides,and it was a big improvement going to the 135's in all areas.I think the centre channel is the most important there always seems to be alot coming from it.

To power a centre channel speaker by 2 NAP145? What type of speaker do you have in mind and how rich are those people who can do this?

the speaker is my htm2d , and after all your'e only as rich as other people think you are

Have you already tried it with a NAP250-2? (You'd need a custom cable for this, easily worked up by your dealer.)

Assuming you're using an AV2, you'll need a custom DIN-4 to XLR interconnect that carries the left output channel (C) to both XLR input pins of the NAP250-2.

Then, simply run two runs of speaker wire to your (passively-) bi-amped center channel loudspeaker–one run for HF, one run for LF.

Then this would be a non-Naim custom cable (RCA phono to XLR-3, pins 2 & 3 conected together).
