as i have said before on the forums was a little disapointed with the blue-ray playback on the ps3, have since bought the panny bd30 and have found fed into my fujitsu panel via hdmi the bd30 is far superiour in pq than the ps3, am not knocking the ps3 as its the only blue-ray player which can be updated to 2.0 profile, can't comment on the new sound formats as its only plugged into my n-vi via optical lead.

Have you had a chance to compare a DVD to BD with the same material? If so, how does your BD30 with blu-ray compare to the n-vi on standard DVD?
