I'm aghast! How can the F1 committee allow Mosley to stay as president of F1 after all this. I don't think anyone cares two hoots about prostitutes, but the whole Nazi thing is horrible.
I cannot understand how the committee cannot see that this will damage F1. Will there be a boycott? Will the teams make a protest?
We will have to see.
Maybe I'm being naive in assuming that they were able to vote freely. You know what Nazi dictators are like.

I'm sort of in two minds about this one! My lofty libertarian principles are telling me that it's his private life, and it is none of my damn business, regardless of how distasteful I might find his 'Nazi fetish'. I must admit, however, that I was somewhat disgusted when I read that part of this sex game involved dressing people up as concentration camp prisoners.

I think this sums up the state of F1 pretty well. Nobody will do anything to derail the gravy train.

I'm reminded of a quote from Ronnie Barker in Porridge. In reply to the question "What did you do to end up in here?" he replied "Got caught". I'm not terribly bothered about what Mosley does or does not do with his spare time and libido but the fact he has now been shown to half the developed world in such a bizarre situation must surely reflect on his ability to interact with business leaders/politicians or whoever else it is he is paid to schmooze. Actually in truth I'm not entirely sure what he actually does in his work if I'm honest.

Odd isn't it. Mosley looks like a nice reliable and decent sort of chap whilst Bernie Ecclestone has the appearance of a complete pervert. You never can tell eh!

I think this will derail the gravy train. When the public distance themselves from F1 over this and the teams make noises too, I'm sure that advertisers and team sponsors will need to look very carefully at being associated with Mosley and financially supporting his empire. I think the FIA committee will live to regret todays decision.

Do you really think that is likely? If this wasn't in today's news I suspect they had already forgotten about it.

In association with G1, it's also known as short castling. Does this help?

The fact that it is the most boring motorsport apart from mobility scooter racing doesn't seem to have turned F1 fans off, why should Max Mosley being a pervert?

That would be the "Nazi thing" he has always denied and is suing the newspaper about?

Prince Harry...

As I said in the original Max Mosley thread...

"An 18-yo boy (albeit member of the Royal Family) gets hauled over the coals for going to a fancy dress party (in the public gaze) dressed in a clearly spoof Afrika Corps uniform.

"The 67-yo son of Oswald Mosely - '30s British Fascist leader and personal friend of Hitler - clandestinely gets his jollies in a sick concentration camp fantasy, and we're told to mind our own business."

But I particularly draw everyone's attention to the final post on that thread, from Diccus, which is one of the funniest things I've ever read on this Forum. LOL and wet myself.

Do you think he celebrated winning the vote with a slap-up party?
