At the risk of igniting controversy - who, on this forum, do you stalk, and why? Here's my list:

GFFJ - for his knowledge of classical music (esp. Bach) and the quirky Polish Vodka thread

sjust - a man of such refined musical tastes, it makes me sick! Smile

Haim, Lontano, MilesSmiles - always interested to see what they're listening to.

Mick Parry (God rest his soul) - I disagree with everything he says, but love the way he says it.

hungryhalibut - we share a name, most of a system, and similar musical tastes - I aspire to be just like him! Smile

Adam Meredith - because he thinks he's so clever.

There may be a few others but these are my main victims.

Nigel

Mostly the chaps I met in Ashford earlier in the year and only on threads that I am interested in.

As can be seen here!

My especial vote goes to pe zulu, who posts all too rarely for me! Now he really does know something about the music I love!

At least we also converse off-line as well!

Also my friend Frank F, who always posts about things I don't really understand, but his two lovely Naim [SBL based] sets in Warsaw and Spain sound exactly how I would like mine to, in my dreams ... !

In addition to many of the above, I always find Frank Abela's suggestions to folk seeking upgrade advice to be spot on and worth a read.

Dear John,

It is so difficult, this internet lark! What seems humourous in a post at least to the author, can have many meanings for the eventual readers, but I think the opening post makes the meaning fairly clearly harmless, even though stalking as such can have a horrible overtone!

Correct. Dry humour doesn't come across well on Web forums. That's why we need smilies! Winker

Apologies gents;
I'm somewhat dyslexic so tend to take things literally, & this thread got me!

Now I understand ...

George always interesting posts, also for his knowledge & kindness.

Diccus62 for humour (made funiest post I've seen here)

Everyone who takes the time to share their knowledge. Smile
