I have Windows XP and Media Player 10. I'm unable to connect the player to the internet.

I've checked all the settings a hundred times over and still it refuses to play. I keep getting the same problem, 'Network Error'.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any help greatly appreciated.

I have a dial-up broadband connection.

it's either "dial-up" or "broadband" (ADSL BB in your case).

Check the settings of your firewall (can't remember which one you're using). It may be blocking WMP.
