I am.
It's a bit slower than the NTHell we had before. I'm currently getting 4.8Mbps (paying a fiver a month for up to 5 Mbps so can't complain) as part of an overall Sky package - so if you've got Sky telly it's quite good value. Not had any problems with them yet (unlike |

Sky uses the bt land line, so basically munch you need to ask yourself how good is my line?
In general issues with speed are down to the line. For instance in my house I have had three ISPs and all were 3.5 meg download, due to the line. After that it comes down to the T&Cs. What is the allowance, or fair use policy. How much can you download in one month? Are you a heavy user? I am and most ISPs therefore are out for me. I use UKFSN which costs me 20 quid a month, a fair price for the amount I have access too. Put in perspective I downloaded a HD rental from my appletv the other day which weighed 2gig. This is the MONTHLY allowance for Skys free package, on ONE perfectly legal download. The rest is down to Fair usage which sky steadfastly refuses to specify. For my money I want to know how much I can download a month end of story. The other thing is contract agreements. Monthly ones are obviously good because you can bail at any time, sky, bt, tiscali etc want 12 months or 18 months. So my advice would be, establish what sort of usage you want. Check the T&Cs Go with the cheapest option with the above in mind considering contract length. 'Quality of service' does not really come into it, they buy off BT ad flog it to you, end of. |

Huge problems with the email to begin with but they sorted that with the deal with Googlemail. To my surprise I have found that the service is very reliable and fairly consistent in speed. I have TV with premium channels to went for Max at £10 a month and have not really regretted. Obviously I get about a quarter of the "up to" 16Mbs but that's fine for what I do.
