This week I think I would be a Media Mogul . I don't know exactly what one does but it sounds damned powerful and important to me. It could possibly involve smoking big cigars and shouting at minnions. Alternatively I wouldn't mind being a........................

Dolly Grip

or maybe a ...........................

Phlebotomist

which might be a bit dull so possibly a

Gigolo

though there don't seem many cards for that in the Byker Jobcentre Plus.

or a

Strategic stock distributor or shelf stacker.

I hope I never entirely grow up!

That would be too sensible.

No matter, my lack of talent, I would love to write a hand full of pieces of the quality Bach always managed. That would be something!

Hey don't let the fact that you have no talent or ability ...

I even dared to apply for a job stacking shelves in the Co-op, but they said that I was not suitable! I can walk, talk, and even lift heavy things, so there must be something terribly wrong with my looks or talent! I was not required to speed type!!!

George

PS: The Co-op is still my favourite shop. Like a working class Waitrose really, and the quality is just as good, but it is expensive for some lines, while it has the best dairy products, meat, veg, and coffee in any supermarket, and these are not costly there!

I'm educated in three different professions, an engineer, a taxi driver and a computer programmer.

As I actually never worked as an engineer, that's what I would like to do. Think, spending ones day at a nice, big drawing table, some occasional calculations on a slide rule, sucking on a pipe, comfortable slippers on ones feet!
