Yeah - and make them listen to White Rabbit before they encounter Alice in wonderland...

"Always struck me as a sure way to spread panic at that festival!"

Often wondered what raving in the early 90s was like (I didn't get into that until 2002)... Imagine hearing "Mr Cook's Nightmare" while tripping your bits off - not funny...

Just don't try being in a car with your mates and being pulled over and your driver arrested while you're on your first trip...

I was lucky in my mid-teens when I started to be offered substances,
because a sensible experienced adult patiently explained what the different drugs do;
both the good & the bad.
This left me in no doubt about the facts & completely de-glamorised things for me.

I think David Bowie's advice to his children was good.
He compared taking recreational drugs to travelling the stars in a space ship;
it can be amazing & expand your mind,
but it can also blow up in your face & kill you.

That's a lot better than any of the education I got, and all the blatant MISinformation too. I'll never forget the mantra at A Levels; they got the whole sixth-form in and basically said "Drugs are bad mkay; you shouldn't do drugs". And that was in 1992, NOT 1932. Ridiculous.

And yet we still have this insane system where dangerous drugs are legal (booze) while far more benign drugs are prohibited. What a crock of hypocritical testicles.

I'd assumed Hoffman had died years ago.

Apparently when they did the LD50 test on LSD they killed a baby elephant with the stuff. Took 15 kilograms to do it as far as I recall. With psychoactive doses measured in the millionths of a gram...

Only vaguely and your profile notes seems to have forgotten entirely.

Could you post your new e-mail address and I will catch it, note it and delete the post.

Remember kids, interacting with the long A.R.M. of the law can result in a psychedelic crisis.
