He lived to the ripe old age of 102,
so maybe the brown acid wasn't so bad after all!

Sorry Munch I was being unintentionally cryptic
I was referring to a scene in the original Woodstock film,
where there is a stage announcement along the lines of

“We have been told there is some brown acid in circulation here that isn't particularly good.
If you have taken some don't worry, & if you want to take some that's up to you,
but you might want to avoid the brown acid”

Always struck me as a sure way to spread panic at that festival!

Well it's like man so not white or transparent or twinkly, do you know I can see your bones through your skin?

There are three side effects of acid:
enhanced long-term memory, decreased short-term memory, and I forget the third.

I can't remember who said that! Winker

George Carlin once said,
"According to Timothy Leary's brother - Really Leary - when you die, your soul goes to a garage in Buffalo" Smile

There was more in the mud than in people at that concert. Winker

No way.
More people listened to Floyd on puff than ever did on LSD.
You did not need a LP12 to get the best from a record in the late 60s or 70s just a big spliff or so they tell me.

I thought he died years ago... I thought Sid Barrett died 20 years ago, but it was last year. Tim Leary has his brain kept in suspended animation. I've seen a bunch of Dead shows which were probably not that great.....but at the time AMAZING!! College was "Funner"! I now question things like religion, politicians, media, etc. If I tripped now (I'm 40) it wouldn't be entirely fun. I'd probably freak out. LSD is better to do when you're young and the biggest worry you have is passing a mid term and getting laid.

Everyone should trip just once Winker

I went to see "2001" with a mate after ingesting some of lthe late Albert's home brew. By the time the apes were beating the crap out of each other my pal was reduced to a sweating, paranoid wreck. I, on the other hand, was blissfully happy. Strange stuff. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds indeed. Cool

Will you give it to your son or daughter and say here you go just the once?
You have done to much .
Syd Barrett died July 2006 not last year.

The best we can do for our children regarding drugs is to be completely honest IMHO.
This means telling them the bad as well as the good,
& probably starting with caffeine & alcohol.

I think a lot of adolescents who end up with substance problems do so because of a lack of balanced information, & the effects legislation has glamorising substances in impressionable minds.
