I love the Kermode/Mayo 5Live film review segment but this week was an absolute classic, the podcast is not to be missed if you are a fan or just want a good laugh. It has been posted on YouTube too.

Stick with it, for it goes all sorts of places incuding Brecht, the QE2 and the sun orbiting the earth.

Yeah I normally listen to it on the way to get the bin lids on a Friday - hilariously well observed. I rarely see films these days but it is hugely entertaining without being a film buff. I Remember discussions on the film 'There will be blood' and which word to emphasise. Should it be ' There will be Blood' or 'There Will be Blood' or even 'There will be Blood'. Excellent, will check it out .

Cheers Bruce

Well, Mrs JWM and our girls went to see it today. They reported that for a 'PG' the language is fairly racy - two 'f*cks' and a 'b*llocks'.

Mamma Mia. Cartesian theory. If this doesn't merit an entry in Pseuds Corner I don't know what would. Is it not sometimes better to go with the flow and say "I liked it". I never feel I have to make excuses.
