Well done Lewis what a fantastic display of skill and tactics.
I still think they should douse the track at every race. Smile

Especially as Massa seems incapable of driving in the wet.

....or as one of the commentators said at the end of the race, bring in rules to greatly reduce grip.
My view for a long time has been that even the old DFV cars with only 450bhp seem, in isolation, more than quick enough even with their old tech chassis and aerodynamics. So 750bhp with less downforce and the rest of next years rule changes should be a massive step in the right direction.

BigH... so you stayed awake???? Eek

I've just got back from the circuit. Great race and, yes, the rain definitely improved the race. Hamilton is by some distance the best wet weather driver and it was a masterful display from him. If only he could concentrate like that in the dry!

The way he pulled out the lead after coming out of the pits narrowly in front of Raikkonen was astonishing to watch in the flesh. He was taking huge chunks out him on every lap.

And yes, Massa was fantastic entertainment!

I think it was the best drive of his F1 career so far.
My only concern is that he seems to be getting rather ensconsed in the glam/glitzy side of F1 (as they all do, I guess) & has been quoted as saying his new best friends such as Pdiddy & Naomi Campbell are people he admires greatly, Roll Eyes & there are reports of tension in the McClaren camp.
He obviously is a talent, & unfortunately likes a bit of bling, but I hope its all kept under control & it doesn't get the better of him. I fear it may though.
Matt.

i agree with you matt but lets not forget that lewis is our ONLY hope of success in F1 therefore we should get behind him especially the press. but they love to destroy talent -dont they ! Roll Eyes
