Best game of Euro 2008 so far, Holland 3-0 Italy. Holland look to really have it together for once at a major tournament. I hope it continues as I've always admired Dutch football since the Cruyff team of 1974.

Johan Cruyff - what a great player - one of the two best players I've ever seen whilst being at match - Roger Osborne kept a tight grip on him though and we won 3-0. However, Cruyff beat us 3-0 in the return leg and Barca sneaked through on penalties (I say Cruyff beat us because he and Johan Neeskens carried the rest of the Catalan side). As for tonight - the second and third goals were just marvellous. I thought Holland were wonderful. Felt like singing at the TV Are you Ipswich in disguise?. ATB Rotf

Apart from the Holland v France game which was another masterclass in counter-attacking football from the Dutch, the Turkey v Czech Republic game just now was the most exciting and dramatic game of the tournament so far.
What a corking last 20 minutes!

I liked France and Romania. I think goals are overrated.

I really hope Holland win it as that is the way I like to see football played.
The game tonight was excellent and Turkey deserved to win IMHO.
It was a shame Switzerland lost the opening game to the Czechs otherwise they would have gone through too, which would have been great for the tournament.
Still perhaps Austria will get through tomorrow. I hope so.
If England had qualified then we'd all be moaning now about their early exit and inept performances, perhaps I'm enjoying the games more without our participation. With our new manager I doubt we will qualify for any tournaments for a long long while.

Goodbye Ronaldo - I really don't think he has improved since his move to Real Madrid.

I think Fergie will whizz him away and lock him in a tower now and set a dragon to guard the base.

Well done Russia. They deserved to win that and played against the Dutch just like the Dutch I thought!
Arse Shaving looks a good player as well.
