watched a video of bobby moore after the game on saturday and still after all these years cant believe how well he read the game....he seemed to have so much time on the ball and made defending look so easy. what a great player and a perfect gent. Roll Eyes

He could run backwards infront of a player and make it look so easy and then just stick a boot on the ball.
I have never seen a player in my life time that could take a ball away from some one in or outside the box like Bobby.
The game has changed but no one has ever come close to his skill on and off the ball.

Oh come on - the premiership should be won by a team playing free flowing football - so that rules chelsea out.

If i wanted to watch a ball 'booted' up the other end for people to chase i'd watch the under 10's on a sunday morning - oh i could watch chelsea as well! Eek

Scottyhammer, I must say i think the hammers display was similar to uniteds against the hammers last season at old trafford. No hammers fans moaning that day when united failed to turn up and so secured your premiership survival Winker

I think Fergie thought so too. I was at the game yesterday and he was having a long chat with Lucas Neill after the game and patted him on the back!

I bet Nani got it in the dressing room!

SH,

Like your style. But, so Man u's other 36 games has nothing to do with them winning the league....? Big Grin

Now that is stating the facts!

Personally, i think curbs is a good manager. With him him them is no chance of been relegated, but by the same token there is probably no chance of winning anything. But outside of the 'BIG FOUR' can anyone? Apart from spurs who beat an over rated team in Blue from London. Even they want to sack there manager who has done something that no one else has before. even though he has spent nothing of the special one's budget. Special my ArXX!!! Eek

kk,
i think you hit the nail on the head about curbs or snoopy as we like to call him.
if we are serious about moving on then he has to go....maybe martin jol would do a good job ?
we will stay rooted in mid table with snoopy i feel.
