I'm sure he'll get a few goals for us, probably more than Marlon/Bobby. He'll be hard to manage though. Tevez & Yossi will be sorely missed.
Matt.

If only the Hammers could hold on to their players, they'd have a not bad side.

Maybe...

James
Johnson
Ferdinand
Ferdinand
Neill
Cole
Lampard
Mascherano
Parker
Kanoute
Tevez

Dodgy keeper of course, but they'd still get in Europe.

I can't wait for the new season to start. Cisse, Bellamy, and £6 million for Torres is a great deal. Good work, Rafa!

It's on your bike to another greedy footballer

What a team we could have had

Darren Ambrose
Darren Bent
Herman Hreidarsson
Marcus Bent
Matt Holland

Imagine what could have been - oh now wait, hold on a minute. we've seen what happened - it's Charlton Big Grin

I wonder if they want that greedy so-and-so Francis Jeffers.

Rotf

Hi Chief Chirpa - I kept saying to Scotty and munch that West Ham would stay-up, but you've left you're best player out of your dream squad - the man that kept you up (and turned our season around): Mark Noble. Of course, if you don't want him .............

I didn't know the 2007/08 season was five-a-side?! Winker

Now, what squad could Liverpool have...

Goalkeepers:
Reina
Carson
Mihaylov
Dudek
Kirkland
Friedel
James...

and so on.

ROTF - When you say 'kept you up', at what stage of the season did it look like Liverpool were going down?! Razz

Didn't realise you were a Liverpool supporter - I don't think it looked like they were going down - hmmm currently mid-table - looks bad for Wigan they have to start last.

well it was a case of same old same old today.
give city their due they thoroughly deserved the win.
whu were piss poor in the 1st half and not much better in the second.
bowyer was awful as was zamora and mark noble picked today to have his worst game.
only bright spot was deano coming on for the last 25mins to an arousing reception and almost
scored with a volley with his first touch.
we must get it together quickly to avoid another season of woe !

....."WE Are Top Of The League! I Say We are Top Of The League"!
....erm' Ok for a couple of hours anyway!

.....Yes Spurs have more quality players than we do at this point in Keano's masterplan and for periods in the first half we had to chase the game ...but ....we didn't let up for the whole game attacking every loose ball and eventually Spurs looked out of ideas.

....I know opening games are generally no guide to how the season will pan out but I honestly don't expect to struggle as we have in our last 2 Premiership seasons ...

I wonder how "Chops's" goal went down in the pubs of Tyneside Nic?

Was wondering when you and diccus would start the gloating re Sunderland. The question is will they hold it together for the rest of the season or does the drop beckon.

Don't underestimate this man. Sunderland will finish Top 10 this season.

As will Newcastle with this guy:

Slightly higher though in the top 10 will be this guy
