Took the kids to see it yesterday.
I don't know what it was but it just didn't seem to have that magic which the 1st and 3rd had (the 2nd was always a bloody joke anyway).
Technically good, but it just didn't seem to flow.

Indiana Jones meets Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Worst of the four. Technically well done, but bland, predictable, and stale. Even Temple of Doom is more interesting. A major disappointment.

I'm a big Indy fan, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it!
I do wish folk wouldn't make meaningless comparisons between the different versions - and no doubt the latest one will fall victim as well.
Thing is - they're all such great entertainment in my book, and a cut above anything else of similar genre.

I just watched yesterday and ... really enjoy it. Harrison Ford, cool as The film is full of references (homages?) to other films, and it is very well done. The problem for me is that I think the film don´t let participate the spectators in it: every "enigma" or situation its resolves easy and fast, no time to suffer or worry about the characters, so maybe that's the reason why some of you don´t feel emotion or empathy with this one. Despite the fact that we are almost 25 years older ... The kid is just awful. This film is a clockwork machine very well done. Regards

I went to see it on Sunday and thought it was wonderful. I sat with with a grin a mile wide all the way through and couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Strangely enough my sons (13 and 19) didn't enjoy it nearly as much. They reckoned the ending spoiled it as it was just not what was expected from an Indy movie.

Yep - my family all enjoyed it.
For me it is probably #2 after Raiders.
