I am a new returnee to Naim after a few side trips. One of the joys of my prior Naim experience was that interconnect and speaker cable choices were pretty much pre determined (Naim/Chord) and very reasonable, compared to the outside cable market.

Can someone tell me if this is still the case or have Naim owners found that others cables that work well with naim gear?

Yep, same old same old.

I think a few are using other cables but not many, always worth a try, to satisfy curiosity, if you don't have to hand over any money to do it.

Depending on how long you have been away, Naim may have introduced some replacement cables in your absense. I you intent to buy second hand this will be something to watch out for.

Hi Mike,
You have given the answer in your question, already: Many (if not most) owners of Naim gear will use the supplied cables. There are occasional discussions about speaker cables, though. I have used Audioquest speaker cable with the Naim "starter kit" - and it was a benefit, but moving up the chain, I feel NACA5 is more appropriate (and only a tenth of the price...) to what I'm looking for.
