Guys,
I purchased the EINA from Ikea while moving into my new flat here while shopping for furniture at the shop. At the time I was thinking to have the EINA as a temporary rack becuase its dirt cheap and was a bit worried about how it looked, but it sounded so fine to my ears that I am thinking of keeping and maxing it. I tried puting glass and spikes between my naim gear and the EINA and it didn't sound good, I think i will get one more EINA just to get another level so I can seperate my Nat and Nait. see photo for my present set up. My question is how should i couple it to the floor? use the rollers came with the EINA or some some sort of spikes? or just leave it as it is? ![]() |

Hello seanbeer,
All you need is a (4) piece spike kit from Russ Andrews and place them near the four corners of your EINA. Takes about 10 minutes to do. I just bought two of the new EINA's myself and I am going to do some experimenting as well. Enjoy, blurred |

Yep,
I bought spikes which you can glue on the bottom of the EINA. Two in front, one in center-back. I found putting it on 3 spikes more stable. The EINA really is fantastic. Advice: I changed the top-shelf to a MDF-board...much better sound. |

The Russ Andrews spikes, all you have to do is just drill four small holes and screw the metal spike holders into place then just screw in the spikes.
You have to use four because the unit like the corras is only solid on the corners. You can also get metal cups to put under your spikes so you dont mess up your wood floor. You should try some under your speakers . |
