I found this picture of a CDI and wondered if that is a digital output.

My CDI does not have one and I actually thought that none of Naim's CD-players did. Can anybody tell me if it is one and which CDI's had it.

This unit has been heavily modified--not sure why this person ended up with a CDI if all they wanted was to cobble this together.

The digital out clearly screws up the sound; its effects can actually be viewed in the analog domain with decent test equipment.
