We like to talk about our systems - here is my impression of Omer's (I copied it from the Mana post which nobody reads it...)

Yesterday I visited Omer's apartment.
I hope Omer will not be angree with me if I tell you that he lives in a lovely apartment in the middle of the noisy Tel Aviv - but his apartment located in a very quiet steet only few minutes
walking from one of the centers of the city.
About Omer's system - a dream.
Cdi, 82 with two Hicaps and two 135's - who needs more. When I listened to Omer's system I remembered another friend I told you about him who has a very expensive Vac system (I'm not sure that it is not more expensive than Omer's ) where is the Vac and where is Naim - (and Omer has poor speakers compare to the system and compare too the one with the Vac).
A great sound all around, a great pleasure to listen to.

Arie

...who knows his stuff

....and is looking for the perfect pair of speakers

.....which is like finding the perfect woman

line of best fit my man...

........or shall we all donate a dollar to you each so you can get those sbls.

No don't thank me just yet, I still disagree with you in that you feel a Mana Ref table is less messier than a Phase 4, and therefore the latter is unsuitable. The experience of the Phase 4 will destroy the paltry notion of cosmetics, and the word "messy" shouldnt even BE in the equation at that point.

stay sweet.

Vik.

Hi,

Sorry to be so late, my computer is down, I'm from an i-cafe'.

It was fun having Arie and Shosh on Wednesday, (Sorry for being busy with Alma, but as you saw Shelly had a flu), they are very nice and in a good spirit and they really look like a cheerful couple.

Arie, I was glad you enjoyed my system, and I'm, even gladder you found my piece of support (shh...) to help your system.

Shahreza - I'm not an extreme flat earther, but I find it a bit funny, the expressions on hi-fi nuts when they first see the speakers and then listen to them...

Yes, I still have the Warfedales, but I have upgraded their supports, they're now no longer on chairs, but straight on the ground as we needed the chairs, up-tilted a bit...

I'm working on replaciong them - I had another speaker adventure on Tuesday, and I really find it frustrating, a high-end dealer in Jerusalem that knows his stuff, listening in his decent living room to an expensive Cary/Threshold/Crimson monoblocks stuff, and no speaker he put could even get close to what I get from my system, and I'm not just talking "flat earth" stuff, but tonallity, real-life soundstaging, it all sounded so flat !!!

I will, however, probably borrow a pair of ARS Acoustica monitors - if I am correct in extrapolating, these may be the most natural sounding speaker I've heard, well certainly compared with the other Coincident (and to a lesser degree, P.E. Leon) speakers I've heard there.
I only wish they were a little bit bigger, this may be their weakness in my place. And they're ported...

Vik, I'll go slowly in the route, I see a phase coming quite soon. Hope Shelly doesn't see it too...

Cheers, Omer.
