Hello!

I have a prefix K phono stage installed in my LP12 turntable.

I use it with diferent cartriges from 150 to 65o micro volt output.

Is there anybody who knows what are the recommended cartridge output to suit this phono stage and which is the maximum admissible output before overload?

Regards

Joaquim

Joachim,

I'm sorry, I can;t answer your question, but I have a similar one myself.

Which boards should I use with an Audio Technica ART1?

Thanks, Martin

I used the K boards - in an 82, I think they were 523-1 series (old) - for a few days with a Grado Sonata - 4.5 mv @ 3.54 cm/sec - is that 45,000 microvolts? It seemed to work fine, though the MM boards were better.

I was shocked by the results with the Ks, but o'load was not an apparent problem. The MM boards were better in dynamics, 'delicacy', 'detail'.
